The Health Collaborative StaffElizabeth De La Fuentes
Executive Director
Ms. De La Fuentes serves as the Executive Director for The Health Collaborative. She has been with the organization since 2007 serving in multiple roles throughout her tenure; her primary role has been to support and manage the organizations finance and operations while also providing administrative and management support for all of the organizations’ programs and community initiatives. In this capacity, Ms. De La Fuentes works diligently to foster an atmosphere of continued growth and professional development for the staff. Ms. De La Fuentes is able to motivate and empower the staff and others to embrace their role in the health of our community. She asserts her passion for community health, equality in service, and collaborative vision to construct sustainable and resilient processes that will directly impact the health status of the community. Ms. De La Fuentes assiduously works in tandem with the board and staff to provide the highest standards of collaboration, sharing of resources and best practices to increase the impact of services for the community they are privileged to serve. Through these strengths, Ms. De la Fuentes has been able to leverage resources to extend the mission of the Health Collaborative into a new caliber of service-oriented initiatives that bring together leaders in the field of community health to promote their joint efforts while fostering a shared vision of prosperity for the citizens of Bexar County and diminishing duplication of services and the need for competition in the area of community health. Prior to joining The Health Collaborative, Ms. De La Fuentes served as an administrative assistant for Health Access San Antonio. Her background includes over 12 years of business management, administration, program management as well as experience in building community infrastructure and partnerships to developing resources for improving community health. Ms. De La Fuentes is a graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word.
Elvira Landeros
Operations Manager
Ms. Landeros joined The Health Collaborative as a Volunteer Coordinator in January 2010 and now serves as the Operations Manager. Her dedication, leadership and professionalism have been instrumental in building collaboration throughout our community partners. Prior to joining The Health Collaborative team, Ms. Landeros served as Administrative Assistant for the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program at Metro Health. Ms. Landeros carries over 20 years of business administration experience and a leading attitude that is essential to managing the organizations operational and financial aspects. Ms. Landeros is a proud mother, wife, and community member with a desire to make a difference.
Trina Roman
Program Manager
Trina Roman, is The Health Collaborative’s Project Measure Up FitnessGram Program Manager. As FitnessGram Program Manager, she facilitates and coordinates the human resource requests of the Bexar County School Districts for Fitnessgram testing. Prior to joining the Health collaborative she was a Staff Manager at AT&T. She has been a volunteer coach for several youth programs in San Antonio for the past three years. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
